Mutant dog or bodybuilder dog

This dog’s name Wendy, but doctor’s that research this unusual genetic mutation call her Arny. Wendy received this nick because of her muscularity.

Meet Wendy:



Wendy weights 27kg, when a regular dog of this kind (hound) usually weights 6-7kg.

Just for comparison, here’s a regular hound:



Infrequent mutation of one gene causes this dog to run twice faster that its siblings.
But Wendy has a double mutation.

Similar mutations were observed among people, mice and large livestock. In spite of the frightening view, such individuals are usually friendly.
